By February 2009, the federal government will require radio communications to be upgraded to a digital format. Our local fire departments will be greatly affected by this change over. The Franklin County Fair, Rock 101.5, and local musicians Marsiglia designed a fundraiser to help offset costs for the Fire Chief's Association.

Battle Benefit 2008 was the kickoff event for the fundraiser that will help raise money for the safety upgrades of our local fire departments.
